We’re so glad you’re here. I hope our website will allow you to get to know us better!
Jesus is the thread that holds this church family together. Like all of God’s children, we aren’t perfect, and we will always be in need of His saving grace, but we are a church devoted to carrying out God’s commands of expanding His Kingdom. We re-commit ourselves each day to focusing on Christ as the anchor of our lives.
When you walk through our doors, it is my hope that you will feel welcomed, encouraged, and ready to begin your walk with Christ, and that Power of Love Ministry church will become your new spiritual home.
Here, both individually and collectively, we find spiritual nourishment as we gather for praise, worship and fellowship in the Lord’s house. In order to build a strong relationship with anyone, it is necessary to spend time together. With God, it is no different. Power of Love has established a number of opportunities for worship, so that we might strengthen our existing bond with God; or help each other find God again if we have lost sight of Him.

We’re not hard to find! Power of Love is located at 700 Progress Ave, Unit 6 in Scarborough, ON. See our Contact page for an easy map.
As soon as you enter Power of Love’s lobby, you’ll first be asked to answer our COVID-19 screening questions, then a designated member will supply you with that day’s program and welcome you to our church. Be sure to ask for help with any special needs you may have; they’ll even help you navigate our new physical distancing seating arrangement to find a comfortable place to sit. There is convenient parking with a wheelchair accessible ramp right near our entrance.
We’ve had to make some changes due to the need for COVID-19 safety measures, but you may sit wherever our new physical distance seating arrangement permits. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know anyone when you get here – we’ll make sure that by the time you leave, you’ll have made many new friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 safety measures, children aren’t allowed to attend our services just yet. Please make childcare arrangements before joining us. We hope to allow little ones back soon.
You are welcome to Power of Love wearing whatever makes you comfortable. On Sunday mornings, you will find our congregation dressed in their own versions of “Sunday Best” clothing, business casual, and especially on Youth Sundays, casual attire, but God isn’t concerned with what you wear; he only cares about your heart. It’s more important to Him, and to us, that you’ve taken the time to visit. Please remember the new rule of mandatory face coverings in all indoor spaces, so you’ll have to add a mask to your outfit. If you happen to forget, you may purchase a disposable mask at the church for $1 before entering the building.
We meet as a church family on Sundays at 11:00am for Divine Worship Service, and again at 5:00pm for Gospel or Night Service. Service is also available online via live stream on our Facebook page. We hope that each service will help you and your family build a foundation of faith and launch you into your new life with Jesus.

If you are new to the faith or have recently become a born-again believer, we invite you to review our information on water baptism and/or Power of Love’s class for new converts.
We’ve taken a number of steps to keep our church family safe, including screening our members and visitors first online and then in person before admission into the building, along with enforcing the need to wear masks and implementing enhanced sanitation and physical distancing measures.
